The purpose of this event is to widely disseminate knowledge about medical device safety, promote scientific regulation of medical devices, and facilitate high-quality development of the industry, thereby better ensuring public safety in the use of devices. During this year's Spring Festival, a sudden outbreak of COVID-19 rapidly swept across the country, posing a serious threat to people's life safety and health. In this deadly battle against a severe epidemic, medical protective clothing, medical masks, diagnostic reagents, infrared thermometers, ventilators, and disinfectants played an irreplaceable and important role.
This "National Medical Device Safety Promotion Week" focuses on "Promoting the Main Theme of Reform and Innovation, Enhancing New Momentum for Industrial Development," and carries out publicity around four aspects: regulatory innovation, industrial development, popular science publicity, and achievement display.
On October 21, a safety publicity team composed of leaders from various departments and relevant personnel from enterprises visited our unit.
